Job Description
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to manage, automate, and optimize our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS server environments, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Manage EC2 instances, VPCs, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and other AWS services
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies
Conduct regular performance tuning, log analysis, and cost optimization reviews
Troubleshoot and resolve system outages and deployment issues
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience
Proven experience managing production infrastructure on AWS
Skills
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration
Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating backend services
Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline
Knowledge of AWS networking components like VPC, Route 53, Load Balancers, NAT Gateways, etc
Technical Skills
Cloud Infrastructure: AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation/Terraform
DevOps & Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions
Security: IAM, encryption, firewall rules, audit logging
Monitoring & Logging: AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
