As a Cloud DevOps Architect, you will lead the design, automation, deployment, and operational excellence of cloud environments, ensuring scalability, security, reliability, and continuous delivery. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and platform teams to establish DevOps best practices and accelerate enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.
Your Role
You will be responsible for architecting and managing cloud-native DevOps ecosystems, enabling seamless deployment and operation of enterprise applications. You will drive automation, containerization, CI/CD adoption, cloud security, and platform engineering practices while supporting the development of scalable SaaS solutions from inception to production.
In this role, you will:
- Architect and implement scalable DevOps solutions for cloud-native and containerized applications.
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes-based platforms across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, secure, and reliable software releases.
- Develop infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and DevOps best practices.
- Optimize container orchestration environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to streamline application deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and platform-related issues across cloud environments.
- Implement and enforce cloud security and network security standards across platforms and applications.
- Contribute to the design and development of SaaS platforms from the ground up.
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and reliability while driving continuous improvements.
- Review deployment architectures and recommend scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
- Support automation initiatives through scripting and platform engineering practices.
Your Profile
Mandatory Skills
- 9–12 years of experience in DevOps engineering and cloud platform architecture.
- Strong experience supporting containerized applications and cloud-native environments.
- Expert-level knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts.
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing large-scale container infrastructures.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
- Expertise in Python scripting and automation.
- Strong knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting networking issues in cloud and containerized environments.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation frameworks, and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud security and network security architecture and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with security and vulnerability management tools such as Prisma Cloud, Rapid7, Coverity, Black Duck, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to platform engineering and site reliability engineering (SRE) practices.
- Experience working on enterprise SaaS platforms and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, logging, and incident management solutions.
- Relevant cloud certifications across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloudes
