We are looking for an early-career Cloud Engineer to join a collaborative team supporting modern cloud initiatives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building foundational infrastructure, improving automation, and expanding their expertise across cloud platforms and platform engineering. The role offers hands-on exposure to scalable environments, cloud modernization efforts, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of cloud infrastructure across enterprise environments.
• Develop and refine Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform to create consistent and repeatable deployments.
• Partner with technical teams to establish cloud architecture patterns, governance practices, and secure platform foundations.
• Contribute to workload modernization and migration efforts as applications and services evolve within the cloud ecosystem.
• Assist with CI/CD improvements by helping enhance automation workflows and supporting the use of GitHub-based delivery pipelines.
• Participate in building a new data platform that incorporates modern cloud services and AI-oriented capabilities.
• Create scripts and automated processes that streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and improve reliability.
• Work closely with infrastructure, application, and data stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions.
• Help monitor platform health, support operational excellence initiatives, and strengthen overall service stability.
• 1–3 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, systems administration, or a related technical area.
• Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of key cloud concepts including networking, security, identity, compute, and storage services.
• Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code principles; hands-on exposure to Terraform is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and source control platforms such as GitHub.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities in technical environments.
• A collaborative mindset with a clear interest in learning, adapting, and growing within cloud engineering.
