This is a $60bn+ hedge fund where technology sits at the heart of everything they do and they are truly ahead of the curve from an AI perspective.
Joining a small, highly capable infrastructure engineering team, you'll work across Windows, Linux, cloud, storage, virtualization and HPC environments, building and automating the platform that underpins the firm's technology estate. Rather than specializing in one area, you'll take ownership across the stack, continuously improving it through automation and an Infrastructure as Code mindset.
This isn't a role for someone who enjoys manually maintaining systems. They're looking for engineers who naturally ask, "How can we automate this?" Whether that's provisioning infrastructure, scaling storage, supporting AI workloads or improving the developer experience, you'll be building the platform rather than simply keeping it running. Ideally, you'll bring strong experience with PowerShell, Python, and Golang.
Just as importantly, they're looking for engineers who can communicate well, collaborate with developers and researchers, and explain technical decisions clearly. The team values curiosity, ownership and pragmatism as much as technical ability.
Compensation reflects the caliber of the environment. Base salaries range from $175k - $250k, with first-year total compensation potentially reaching $500k, depending on experience and performance.
A quote directly from the head of infrastructure: "If you want to be broader, better, have more impact, and become an AI expert then I can't see why you wouldn't want to work here".
