Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled
DevOps Engineer (Data Platforms) to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure supporting modern data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in
Azure, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps practices with experience building scalable, secure, and automated cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and data platform deployments.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and scaling of cloud resources.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to support Azure-based data platforms.
- Implement security, governance, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Optimize cloud costs and improve infrastructure reliability.
- Maintain documentation for deployment processes and infrastructure architecture.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and operational excellence.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Azure Cloud Services
- Hands-on expertise in Terraform
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and automation
- Experience supporting Data Platforms and cloud infrastructure
- CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
- Git version control
- Linux administration and shell scripting
- Monitoring and logging tools
- Networking and cloud security fundamentals

- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Databricks
- Docker and Kubernetes
- PowerShell or Python scripting
- Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Microsoft Azure certifications are an added advantage.
