Role Description The DevOps Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure that support scalable, secure, and reliable applications. This is a full-time role based in Bengaluru South, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with development and operations teams to automate deployment processes, monitoring system performance and availability, and driving improvements in observability, security, and cost efficiency. The DevOps Lead will standardize tooling and practices, manage cloud environments and configuration management, and troubleshoot production incidents to ensure timely resolution. The role also involves mentoring team members, documenting best practices, and contributing to architectural decisions that support SysTechCorp’s technology roadmap.
Qualifications
- Strong DevOps foundations, including experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and environment automation.
- Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages commonly used in DevOps (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar) to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Knowledge of security best practices, including secrets management, access control, and secure deployment processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and guide others in DevOps practices.
- Background in leading or mentoring technical teams, with accountability for production systems and release processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with issue-tracking and project management tools.
