Hybrid Cloud Engineer – Storage & Virtualization

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Hybrid Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise hybrid cloud infrastructure spanning on-premises data centers, colocation facilities, and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in VMware, Azure Hybrid Cloud, storage, Linux, automation, and enterprise infrastructure, with a focus on high availability, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid cloud solutions across Azure and on-premises environments.
- Manage enterprise compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.
- Lead Azure cloud integration initiatives using AVS, Azure Arc, Landing Zones, and Azure Policy.
- Build Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform/Bicep and automate deployments with Ansible and PowerShell.
- Administer VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, NSX, vCenter, SRM).
- Support enterprise Linux platforms (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE).
- Implement monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Collaborate with networking, security, and compliance teams to meet ISO 27001 standards.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and support global IT projects.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
- Strong Microsoft Azure Hybrid Cloud experience (AVS, Azure Arc, Landing Zones).
- VMware: vSphere, ESXi, NSX, vCenter, SRM.
- Terraform/Bicep, Ansible, PowerShell automation.
- Enterprise Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE).
- Azure Monitor, Backup, Disaster Recovery, Cost Optimization.
- Azure AD/Entra ID, IAM, RBAC.
- Storage technologies such as Pure Storage, Nasuni, or Veeam.
- Enterprise networking fundamentals (HPE, Brocade).
- Experience supporting global enterprise environments.
Preferred
- Legal or professional services industry experience.
- Exposure to AI-assisted operations or AIOps tools.
- Experience with ISO 27001 environments.
