Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with 8+ years to design, build, and evolve the cloud platform
This role focuses on platform architecture, automation, security, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as
Code, cloud scalability, and developer enablement.
Rather than managing day-to-day operations alone, you will create the platform, tooling, and standards that
enable engineering teams to build and deploy software securely, reliably, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage Amazon EKS architecture.
- Improve scalability, resiliency, and performance.
- Lead Kubernetes upgrades and modernization.
- Define cluster standards and best practices.
Infrastructure as Code
- Own Terraform modules.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Standardize environments.
- Eliminate manual infrastructure processes.
Cloud Architecture
Own architecture for: AWS Networking, EKS, Aurora, Redis, Kafka, Lambda, CloudFront, Route53, IAM,
Secrets Manager.
DevSecOps
- Secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Define security guardrails.
- Implement Policy-as-Code.
- Manage secrets and encryption.
- Improve supply chain security.
SOC 2 Enablement
- Design technical controls supporting SOC 2.
- Automate compliance evidence collection.
- Improve logging, monitoring, and audit readiness.
- Partner with compliance stakeholders.
Platform Reliability
- Define SLOs and SLIs.
- Improve observability.
- Reduce operational toil through automation.
- Drive reliability initiatives.
Cost Optimization
- Optimize AWS architecture.
- Improve Kubernetes resource utilization.
- Drive FinOps initiatives.
Key Skills Required: Minimum 8 years’ experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps experience.
- Expert AWS knowledge
- Expert Kubernetes (EKS)
- Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions / ArgoCD, Prometheus & Grafana, Linux, Aurora MySQL, Kafka, Redis,
Strong scripting (Python/Bash preferred).

Education Required
