Piper Companies is seeking an
Azure DevOps Engineer to join a leading technology organization. The
Azure DevOps Engineer will be responsible for supporting and enhancing Azure cloud environments, implementing enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, and driving Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives to improve automation, scalability, and security across the organization.
Responsibilities of the Azure DevOps Engineer:
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps to streamline application and infrastructure deployments.
- Implement and manage enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions utilizing Azure AD / Entra ID.
- Automate cloud operations, provisioning, monitoring, and configuration management processes.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure secure and scalable cloud deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, identity management, and deployment workflows.
- Establish and maintain cloud governance, security, and operational best practices.
Qualifications of the Azure DevOps Engineer:
- 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation roles.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture principles.
- Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or similar technologies.
- Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Single Sign-On (SSO) and Azure AD / Entra ID environments.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation for the Azure DevOps Engineer includes:
- Salary range: $130,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
