This Infrastructure Engineer 3 opportunity is based in Charlotte, NC with a large enterprise organization seeking an experienced infrastructure professional to support complex, production-grade environments. The role focuses on Azure cloud infrastructure, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Kubernetes/OpenShift, observability platforms, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), automation, and scripting. This is a 12-month W2 contract opportunity.
This is an excellent opportunity for an infrastructure engineer who enjoys working where cloud engineering, containerization, automation, and reliability meet. You’ll contribute to large-scale infrastructure initiatives while gaining exposure to a broad observability ecosystem, including Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk Observability, AppDynamics, BigPanda, and ThousandEyes. The environment offers the chance to solve meaningful production challenges, collaborate with experienced infrastructure teams, and deepen your expertise across Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and SRE practices.

Required Skills & Experience
· 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent experience through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education
· 4+ years of experience leveraging observability platforms such as BigPanda, ThousandEyes, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk Observability, and AppDynamics to improve service reliability and performance monitoring
· 3+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Kubernetes
· Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
· Experience managing and supporting Azure cloud infrastructure
· 3+ years of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience supporting production-grade environments
· 3+ years of automation and scripting experience

· Consult on and participate in moderately complex Infrastructure Engineering initiatives and deliverables
· Contribute to large-scale planning related to Infrastructure Engineering deliverables
· Review and analyze infrastructure challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors
· Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex infrastructure and production issues
· Apply infrastructure policies, procedures, and compliance requirements when delivering solutions
· Manage and support cloud and production-grade infrastructure environments
· Leverage observability platforms to enhance service reliability and performance monitoring
· Collaborate with infrastructure personnel and cross-functional teams to meet engineering deliverables
