We are looking for an Associate DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you will work closely with our Senior DevOps Engineers and Software Development teams to maintain, scale, and optimize our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities
- Kubernetes & Containerization: Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized microservices across production and non-production Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE/AKS). Maintain Dockerfiles and container registries.
- CI/CD Pipeline Maintenance: Support, optimize, and troubleshoot existing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Assist in writing, maintaining, and applying modular Terraform/CloudFormation scripts to manage cloud infrastructure safely.
- Monitoring & Observability: Configure and maintain application and cluster monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Investigate build failures, application crashes (e.g., CrashLoopBackOff), network connectivity issues, and cloud infrastructure alerts.
- Scripting & Automation: Automate routine operational tasks using Bash or Python to eliminate manual toil.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Systems Administration, or Cloud Support role.
- Kubernetes Core: Solid understanding of core K8s objects (Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, Persistent Volumes) and proficiency with kubectl.
- Docker: Hands-on experience writing clean, multi-stage Dockerfiles and managing container images.
- Cloud Platform: Basic to intermediate knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Linux Systems: Proficiency in Linux administration (shell navigation, systemd, file permissions, networking tools like netstat, curl, and dig).
- CI/CD Fundamentals: Practical understanding of Git workflows and building automated pipeline workflows.
Required Skills
- Certifications: Active CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer), or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
- Experience with GitOps tools: such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Exposure to Service Mesh technologies: (Istio, Linkerd) or Helm charts.
