The Role
- Design, deploy, and operate secure cloud-based information systems for space, avionics, and defense electronics customers.
- Build and operate secure, compliant cloud environments supporting government, defense, and aerospace work.
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive and classified information.
- Implement and oversee robust cybersecurity controls and risk management practices for cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure continuous compliance with federal laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP High, DoD SRG IL4/IL5/IL6, ITAR, EAR, CUI).
- Collaborate across IT, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable solutions.
What You'll Need
- An active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud and/or other federal cloud environments.
- Experience with cloud security, network security, and infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Strong background in Linux OS administration and cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner) are a plus.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations and frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST, ITAR, EAR, CUI, NISPOM, DAAPM, FARS/DFARS).
