We are hiring an experienced Full Stack Engineer / Cloud Engineer for a long-term full-time opportunity with a leading enterprise organization in Houston, TX. We are specifically seeking local Houston candidates who are already based in the area and committed to a long-term opportunity. Candidates requiring relocation will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using Python and modern cloud technologies.
- Design, build, deploy, and operate scalable, secure, highly available AWS infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform solutions using AWS best practices.
- Build and manage automated CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Automate deployment, configuration, and operational processes to improve scalability, consistency, and reliability.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deliver secure and reliable cloud solutions.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Python
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture
- Experience designing and managing scalable AWS infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation
- Experience with infrastructure and deployment automation
- Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, reliability, and high availability
