The Role
- Collaborate with teams on designing and implementing AWS system architectures, ensuring operational status and security.
- Review and provide input on system requirements, focusing on cybersecurity posture.
- Compile industry best practices and lessons learned for future designs.
- Provide architectural analysis of cloud configurations and connections.
- Support the Engineering Review Board by evaluating artifacts for architectural compliance.
- Resolve architecture implementation issues during integration and testing.
What You'll Need
- TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain Poly CI.
- DoD 8570 Certification Compliance (IAT Level 2/3).
- BS degree and 5+ years consulting, designing, and implementing distributed solutions, plus 3+ years with cloud-based solutions (AWS, SOA, Web-Services).
- Familiarity with System Engineering documentation (VDDs, diagrams) and team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat).
- Experience across AWS/Cloud technologies (EC2, PaaS, Lambdas, S3 buckets, Reserved Instances) and Grafana.
- Understanding of code baseline management and utilization of tools like Jenkins, Python, Gitlab, CloudFormation, Zabbix, Terraform.
