Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Engineer role based in San Francisco, CA. The Engineer will design, implement, and optimize multi-cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, and other platforms to support client applications and infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring cloud services, deploying and migrating workloads, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translating them into scalable technical solutions, and documenting designs and operational procedures. The Engineer will also contribute to automation initiatives, security and compliance efforts, and continuous improvement of engineering practices and tools.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in cloud infrastructure engineering, including experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or other major cloud platforms.
- Candidates should possess skills in system design and deployment, such as infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, automation scripting, and containerization.
- Candidates should possess skills related to security and compliance, including identity and access management, network security, encryption, and adherence to industry standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in performance monitoring and optimization, including troubleshooting, logging, observability tools, and capacity planning.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in healthcare or regulated environments is beneficial, especially familiarity with privacy and data protection requirements.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
