About the Role
As a Cloud Engineer (Backend / DevOps-leaning), you will take responsibility for designing, building and maintaining AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code. This is an ongoing, long-term opportunity focused on reliable cloud infrastructure and its supporting delivery processes.
You will manage EC2 and other core infrastructure components, support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes, and implement and maintain security and compliance controls.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Manage EC2 and core infrastructure components
- Support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes
- Implement and maintain security and compliance controls, including ISO27001 or equivalent standards
Requirements
- 5+ years of AWS experience
- 3+ years of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience, with CI/CD pipeline experience as an inherent part of this skill
- 2+ years of experience managing EC2 and core infrastructure
- 1+ years of security compliance experience with ISO27001 or a similar standard
Nice to Have
- SOC2 or GDPR compliance exposure, or strong general security best-practice experience as an alternative to ISO27001 or similar security compliance experience
