Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Azure Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure and services on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, PowerShell automation, infrastructure management, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain Azure services, virtual machines, networking, storage, and security.
- Develop PowerShell scripts to automate deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
- Monitor Azure environments and troubleshoot performance, availability, and connectivity issues.
- Implement cloud security, access controls, policies, and best practices.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster-recovery activities.
- Collaborate with DevOps, software engineering, security, and infrastructure teams.
- Document cloud architecture, configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 2–7 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Azure Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID.
- Understanding of cloud security, monitoring, identity, and access management.
- Experience troubleshooting Azure infrastructure and production environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure DevOps, ARM/Bicep, or Terraform.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-500.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale cloud environments.
Compensation
Estimated Salary Range: $100,000–$175,000 annually, depending on experience, location, technical expertise, certifications, and overall qualifications.
