What You Would Do
Typical responsibilities could include:
- Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools and frameworks
- Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing workflows
- Containerizing applications and managing container orchestration platforms
- Establishing monitoring, logging and alerting strategies to ensure system reliability
- Collaborating with security and platform teams to implement cloud best practices and compliance standards
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members on cloud infrastructure patterns
- Troubleshooting infrastructure issues and implementing solutions to improve system performance
- Documenting architecture decisions and maintaining runbooks for operational consistency
What You Could Bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
Must-have
- 5–10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps or cloud engineering roles
- Hands-on expertise with AWS and Azure, including compute, storage and networking services
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager
- Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms, particularly Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix system administration and scripting languages such as Python, Bash or similar
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Authorization to work in the United States
Nice-to-have
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect certification
- Google Cloud Architect certification
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, ELK Stack or Datadog
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience supporting regulated or enterprise environments
