Job Description
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure solutions with a strong emphasis on AWS EC2.
- Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
- Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) for container orchestration and deployment.
- Support enterprise-scale production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud security best practices.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and operational excellence.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends to continuously improve our infrastructure.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in AWS EC2 is a deal breaker.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in AWS Infrastructure Engineering.
- Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) for container management.
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments.
- Strong networking knowledge in cloud environments.
- Demonstrated operational excellence in managing cloud infrastructure.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other AWS services (e.g., S3, RDS, Lambda).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack).
- Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of overall IT experience with a focus on cloud infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
