Job Description
Quevera is seeking a highly skilled
Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with an active
TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph in
Laurel, Maryland.
In this role, you will deliver and provision secure hosting environments within a commercial cloud fabric in direct support of NSA missions, enabling enterprise-wide scaling for a diverse set of end users.
You will provide technical expertise to engineer, configure, test, install, integrate, operate, secure, monitor, maintain, sustain, perform configuration management, and manage NSA instances of commercial Cloud Service Provider solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform tasks across network fabrics supporting commercial cloud environments.
- Provide customer help desk functions.
- Support software integration and migration.
- Perform integration and testing.
- Develop and maintain documentation.
- Support security, network monitoring, and system monitoring activities.
- Perform configuration and release management.
- Provision and sustain network infrastructures.
- Develop, operate, and manage networks required to operate in secure Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Internet Protocol Security (IPSEC), Software Defined Networking (SDN), and/or Virtual Private Network (VPN) enabled environments.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging cybersecurity technologies for production use, including Domain Naming Service (DNS), routing, load balancers, data flow technologies, audit capturing tools and techniques, Host-Based Intrusion Detection Systems (HIDS), Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS), and Anti-Virus scanning.
Minimum Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
- Python.
- AWS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- All experience and education must be in a technical field directly related to the labor category, and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees must be from accredited institutions.
- Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:
- Twelve (12) years of minimum experience with a High School Diploma or GED.
- Ten (10) years of minimum experience with an Associate's degree.
- Eight (8) years of minimum experience with a Bachelor's degree.
- Six (6) years of minimum experience with a Master's degree.
- Four (4) years of minimum experience with a Doctorate degree.
- 50% of Application Engineer positions require IAT Level II certification.
