Cloud Infrastructure Engineer position open for a full-time professional located in the Eastern Time Zone with 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience. Must have experience with Azure infrastructure, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure VMs, Azure Storage, networking, Active Directory/Entra ID, VMware, and Windows Server administration. This role is best suited for an infrastructure-focused Cloud Engineer who is comfortable building, configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting Azure and traditional enterprise infrastructure.

Requirements & Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure / Azure infrastructure experience
- Experience building, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Azure cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with Azure Functions and Azure App Services
- Experience with Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure Storage/Blob Storage, monitoring, and cost analysis
- Experience with Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, VPN connectivity, and related network configuration
- Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
- Experience with VMware/vSphere and virtualized infrastructure
- Experience administering Windows Server environments
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, VPNs, and firewall configuration
- Experience with PowerShell or other scripting and automation tools
- Experience troubleshooting cloud, server, virtualization, networking, and application infrastructure issues
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with infrastructure, development, and security teams
- Azure certification preferred but not required
- Linux administration experience preferred but not required
- GoAnywhere or other managed file transfer experience is a plus but can be trained
Responsibilities
- Build, configure, administer, and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services
- Configure and support Azure Functions, App Services, Virtual Machines, Storage, and related Azure resources
- Configure and troubleshoot Azure networking, connectivity, and infrastructure dependencies
- Monitor Azure environments, analyze resource utilization and costs, and identify opportunities for optimization
- Administer and support Active Directory/Entra ID, Windows Server, VMware, and virtualized infrastructure
- Troubleshoot production issues across cloud, server, virtualization, networking, and application infrastructure
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation for infrastructure and administrative tasks
- Support cloud migrations, infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and implementation projects
- Monitor system availability and performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Partner with Information Security to remediate vulnerabilities and maintain secure infrastructure
- Provide advanced technical support and root-cause troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues
- Maintain system documentation, configurations, technical procedures, and infrastructure diagrams
- Support secure file-transfer platforms and other enterprise infrastructure applications
