We are looking for a passionate DevOps engineer with the extensive background in managing web application, Linux & website servers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs.
Responsibilities:
•Manage and optimize Linux based servers, email servers, mySQL databases & GIT server
•Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
•Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
•Identifying technical problems and deploy software updates and fixes
•Monitor all web application services and website for any downtime
•Analyse and diagnose system failures, recover and restore operating systems and file systems
•Working with software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
•Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
•Develop scripts to automate visualization & design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Required skills and Qualification:
•1-4 years’ experience as a DevOps engineer or similar role
•Red Hat Certification (RHCE)
•Good experience in linux administration & configuration/maintenance of Linux servers
•Familiarity with server administration concepts including SAMBA, web server, NFS, LAN/WAN concepts, networking and email servers.
•Knowledge in bash scripting
•Good knowledge on server hardening & server security
•AWS certification will be an added advantage
•Proficiency with GitHub workflows, databases and SQL
•Graduation in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
