Job Summary
We are looking for an entry-level Cloud Engineer with foundational knowledge of AWS services, Linux, networking, and cloud infrastructure. The candidate will assist in deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy and configure EC2 instances, S3 buckets, IAM users/roles, VPCs, and other AWS services.
- Monitor AWS resources using CloudWatch.
- Assist with troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and application issues.
- Work with Linux servers and basic shell commands.
- Support backup, security, and access-management activities.
- Assist with deployments and basic CI/CD pipelines.
- Document infrastructure, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Follow security and cost-optimization best practices.
- Work with senior engineers to resolve production issues.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of AWS: EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, RDS.
- Understanding of Linux fundamentals.
- Basic networking: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, subnets, routing, security groups.
- Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub.
- Familiarity with Docker is a plus.
- Basic scripting with Bash or Python is beneficial.
- Understanding of cloud concepts: regions, availability zones, scalability, high availability.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred / Nice to Have
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
Terraform or CloudFormation.
Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
Docker/Kubernetes.
Basic understanding of CI/CD and DevOps.
Typical Experience
1-4 years
Freshers with relevant projects/certifications may be considered.
