Position Overview:
As an Engineering Lead, you will be at the forefront of our product development efforts. You will be responsible for overseeing the engineering team, guiding technical strategy, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable SaaS products, managing large teams, and expertise in a diverse tech stack.
Key Responsibilities:
● Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to a multidisciplinary team, including frontend, backend, mobile developers, QA, and DevOps engineers.
● Product Development: Lead the design and implementation of scalable and high-performance SaaS applications. Ensure products meet high standards of quality, performance, and security.
● Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of 10-20 engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
● Project Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end development process, from concept through deployment, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
● Tech Stack Proficiency: Utilize your expertise in React.js, Node.js, Typescript, MongoDB, Python, Javascript, Flutter, AWS, and CI/CD to drive technical excellence.
● Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver solutions that meet user needs.
● Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices for software development, including CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated testing to improve efficiency and product quality.
● Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply relevant advancements to enhance our products and processes.
Qualifications:
● Experience: 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of building products from scratch and managing a large volume of users.
● SaaS Expertise: Demonstrated experience in developing and scaling SaaS products.
● Team Leadership: Experience managing teams of 10-20 engineers, including frontend, backend, mobile, QA, and DevOps.
● Technical Skills: ○ Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Typescript, MongoDB, Python, Javascript, Flutter, AWS, and CI/CD. ● Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
● Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
