Job Description
As a key member of the Cloud Development – Delivery department, you will design, implement, and manage cloud‑native applications and infrastructure while overseeing delivery pipelines and cross‑functional collaboration. You will act as a bridge between engineering, operations, and business stakeholders, ensuring high‑quality, scalable solutions that meet client expectations and accelerate time‑to‑value.
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) supporting enterprise applications.
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of cloud projects, managing timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to streamline releases.
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to translate requirements into technical designs.
- Monitor performance, availability, and security of cloud services, applying best‑practice optimizations.
- Drive incident response and root‑cause analysis for production issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
- Ensure compliance with governance, security, and cost‑management policies.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Prepare technical documentation, status reports, and delivery metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and application delivery management.
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Hands‑on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive, results‑oriented mindset.
- Effective communication in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) preferred.
