Role : AWS Admin / Platform Engineer
Location : Charlotte, NC
Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned AWS Admin / Platform Engineer to own and evolve our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-efficient. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience administering and engineering AWS environments, with deep expertise in automation, networking, security, and platform reliability at enterprise scale.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, provision, and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, EKS/ECS, Lambda) to support
enterprise workloads.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) for repeatable, version-controlled
provisioning.
• Administer IAM policies, roles, and access controls to enforce least-privilege security across accounts.
Required Skills & Technology
• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure administration/engineering, with deep hands-on AWS expertise
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation)
• Expertise in AWS networking, security, and IAM best practices
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, EKS/ECS/Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with configuration management using Ansible
• Experience with AWS Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA) for orchestration
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline, or similar)
• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, etc.)
