Job Description:
As a DevOps Expert, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP. You will work closely with our development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration, continuous delivery, and efficient deployment of our applications. Your expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC) will be essential in driving our DevOps initiatives forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards.
- Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing and DevOps practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
- Strong expertise in AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS and/or GCP certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
