Your work will require you to:
● Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
●Work closely with engineers and developers to build and maintain the tools needed for projects to be completed efficiently
● Seek to continually improve devops processes like deployments and infrastructure cost
- Handle sudden spikes and anomalies in the shortest possible time and in a cost effective manner
- Ensuring that deployments are secure against cybersecurity threats
- Security Hardening of application/web server against known/unknown vulnerabilities
- Excellent problem solving and production environment diagnosis skills
- Work with development teams to design and implement an automated DevOps process to support continuous integration and deployment of application builds
- Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup and restores of different environments
- Handled highly scalable aws hosted infrastructure & platforms
- Solid foundation knowledge about linux, operating systems & distributed systems & exemplary troubleshooting skills.
Expected skill sets:
- At least 1+ year of working experience in a DevOps capacity, preferably as a DevOps Engineer managing deployments on Azure.
- Handling Microservices and request traffic in millions per minute.
- Must have experience in Kubernetes and Docker along with Linux, Git, Jenkins.
- Strong working knowledge of internet backbone technologies: TCP/IP, Networks and subnetting, TLS, DNS, WAF/CDNs, SMTP etc
- Good knowledge of automation/scripting languages such as Bash, Python, PowerShell.
- Knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL, SQL and non-relational databases like MongoDB.
- Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools.
- Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools.
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
- Hands-on experience in setting up K8 and managing the same is a plus.
