"Responsibilities"
- Lead a team of DevOps engineers in implementing and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Establish and enforce DevOps best practices, methodologies, and standards.
- Oversee the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Write & manage infrastructure as code implementations using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
- Coordinate cloud migration efforts and architectural improvements.
- Guide implementation of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues and production incidents.
- Collaborate with development teams & architects to improve deployment processes and application reliability.
- Manage resource allocation and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
- Report on key metrics and provide recommendations.
"Required Skills"
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Azure services and infrastructure management.
- Strong technical background in CI/CD implementation, infrastructure automation, and containerization.
- Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep and configuration management tools.
- Experience deploying and managing containerized applications with Docker and AKS.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Hands-on experience with Azure networking, storage, and compute resources.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and implementing alerting mechanisms.
- Experience troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues in cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to various stakeholders.
"Desirable Skills"
- Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Administrator, DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with Kubernetes, AKS Orchestration, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and other PaaS offerings.
- Knowledge of database management in Azure (SQL, Cosmos DB).
- Experience with source control management using ADO, Git.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
"Education Qualification"
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
