Key Responsibilities:
- Lead AWS DevOps initiatives across build, release, deployment, and operations for multiple environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable consistent, automated, and repeatable deployments.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code practices to provision and manage AWS resources reliably and at scale.
- Establish operational best practices for monitoring, alerting, incident response, and post-incident reviews.
- Partner with development teams to improve deployment frequency, reduce lead time, and increase release quality.
- Ensure security and compliance controls are embedded into pipelines and cloud operations (DevSecOps mindset).
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive automation and fixes.
- Mentor team members, conduct reviews for pipeline/IaC changes, and promote standards and reusable templates. Minimum Qualifications:
- 5–9 years of overall experience with strong, hands-on focus in AWS DevOps and cloud operations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BTECH/BCA/MCA/MTECH) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for production-grade applications.
- Strong understanding of AWS services, cloud networking basics, IAM/security fundamentals, and deployment strategies.
- Experience supporting production environments with monitoring, incident handling, and reliability improvements. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience implementing advanced CI/CD patterns such as blue-green/canary deployments and automated rollbacks.
- Strong expertise with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management to standardize environments.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration for cloud-native deployments on AWS.
- Ability to define DevOps KPIs (deployment frequency, MTTR, change failure rate) and drive measurable improvements.
- Experience collaborating with security teams to integrate vulnerability scanning, policy checks, and secrets management into CI/CD.
- Prior experience leading/mentoring DevOps engineers and driving cross-team alignment on release and operational processes.
