Role Proficiency:
Act under guidance of Lead II/Architect understands customer requirements and translate them into design of new DevOps (CI/CD) components. Capable of managing at least 1 Agile Team
Outcomes:
- Interprets the DevOps Tool/feature/component design to develop/support the same in accordance with specifications
- Adapts existing DevOps solutions and creates own DevOps solutions for new contexts
- Codes debugs tests documents and communicates DevOps development stages/status of DevOps develop/support issues
- Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components
- Optimises efficiency cost and quality of DevOps process tools and technology development
- Validates results with user representatives; integrates and commissions the overall solution
- Helps Engineers troubleshoot issues that are novel/complex and are not covered by SOPs
- Design install configure troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and software
- Able to automate infrastructure provisioning on cloud/in-premises with the guidance of architects
- Provides guidance to DevOps Engineers so that they can support existing components
- Work with diverse teams with Agile methodologies

Additional Comments:
The DevOps Engineer to perform the application required CI & CD and implementation required works. Engineer will work closely with Solution Delivery, Architects, developers, and quality analysts to drive value delivery in an Agile environment. This role involves providing stable implementations for 12-factor, cloud-native applications, and repeatable DevOps processes through automation in SaaS/IaaS/PaaS environments. The ideal candidate will combine technical and business skills with a passion for client collaboration to deliver excellence. Shape Key Responsibilities The engineer will work with DevOps Manager, Solution Delivery, Architects, Developers, and Quality analysts to perform the CI & CD and Implementation in all phases of Agile software development. The DevOps is responsible for the Config management, maintaining the baseline version, to solve technical challenges in Implementation. This position is responsible for coding knowledge, configuration, testing, system performance optimization, and interoperability issues. Bring in industry best practices è Establish, exercise and enforce the same in the workways Drives engagement with Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure secure deployment of applications. Perform Deployments as per the Sequence of Action required in implementation, perform production support and maintenance of applications as needed. Develops and maintains the DevOps required technical & process documentation. Required skills and experience 7 to 9 years’ experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps with Azure cloud applications, having worked in Agile environment. Expertise in Version controller using ADO and strong ADO Branching strategies CI & CD process of Classic and YAML pipeline (Build and Release) creation & Debugging Managing build server and build agents from Dev, SIT to Production environments Dev & Azure VM image creation using packer, install the application e2e for the utilization Mandatory to have the Basic knowledge about SQL and PL/SQL from implementation perspective Able to install desktop applications in enterprise applications in Micro Soft platforms Understand the Domain/Functionality to troubleshoot, WCF, Batch Services Monitor code for security vulnerabilities and take actions to remediate and/or mitigate risks. Provide best practices around provisioning production and non-production environments on the On-Prem and cloud to optimize the usage. Experience with network technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools Practical scripting and programming skills are a must (Powershell scripts) Added advantage Good if the candidate is from an application development background and has expertise in building large-scale web applications on-prem and cloud experiences. Experience with service-oriented architecture for WCF, On-Prem and cloud-based services. Have a strong understanding of application architecture, common failure modes, and the development process Have a strong understanding of 24x7 application operations, including Incident Management, Change Management, and Capacity Management Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or additional comparable experience Proven experience in IT, application development, or DevOps, including excellent knowledge of networking, computing, and storage Industry certifications in DevOps and Cloud service will be a big plus.
