DevOps Engineer & Cloud Administrator
LIC Housing Finance is looking for a dynamic DevOps Engineer & Cloud Administrator with hands-on experience in CI/CD, cloud platforms, automation, and production support. The role offers an opportunity to work in a regulated enterprise environment, collaborating with development, infrastructure, database, network, and security teams to drive deployment excellence and operational efficiency.
- Minimum Experience Required: 3+ years
- Relevant Industry/Domain Experience: BFSI (preferred)
- Production Support Experience: Experience supporting application deployment and production environments.
- CI/CD Experience: Practical hands-on experience in developing, maintaining and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud Experience: Practical experience in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure administration.
B. Preferred Criteria
- Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions.
- Good working knowledge of Git and source-code management.
- Experience with automated application build, deployment and release processes.
- Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.
- Working knowledge of Linux environments.
- Scripting experience using Bash, Python and/or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or Ansible.
- Understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration will be an advantage.
- Experience with application and infrastructure monitoring.
- Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS and networking fundamentals.
- Experience administering AWS, GCP & or Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
- Experience integrating code quality, vulnerability scanning and security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of deployment rollback and release management processes.
- Experience working with Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps concepts will be an advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Develop, maintain and troubleshoot automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions for application build, testing and deployment.
- Application Deployment & Release Support: Execute and support automated application deployments across Development, QA, UAT/Staging, Production and DR environments. Support release validation, rollback and post-deployment verification.
- Source Code & Version Control: Manage source-code repositories and branching workflows using Git. Support branch management, merge processes, release tagging and version control activities.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, Python, PowerShell or equivalent technologies to automate deployment, operational and infrastructure-related activities.
- Containerization: Build, maintain and support containerized applications using Docker, including container images, tags, registries and deployment configurations.
- Infrastructure as Code: Assist in provisioning and maintaining infrastructure configurations using Terraform, Ansible or equivalent Infrastructure as Code and configuration-management tools.
- DevOps Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor CI/CD pipelines, deployment activities and application health. Analyze build, deployment and application logs and troubleshoot failures and operational issues.
- Security & DevSecOps Integration: Support integration of code-quality checks, static code analysis, vulnerability scanning, dependency checks and secrets management into CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Support: Support DevOps and administration workloads and deployment infrastructure hosted on AWS, Microsoft Azure or on-premises environments. Coordinate with Infrastructure and Cloud teams for required resources and configurations.
- Production Support & Incident Management: Support production deployments and troubleshoot deployment or application issues. Participate in Incident, Problem and Root Cause Analysis activities in coordination with relevant technical teams.
- Change & Release Management: Implement application and infrastructure changes through established Change Management and CAB processes, including implementation planning, validation and rollback procedures.
- DevOps Platform Administration: Maintain DevOps infrastructure including CI/CD servers, build agents/runners, repositories, artifact repositories and associated tools.
- Deployment Standardization: Develop and maintain standardized deployment processes, scripts, pipeline templates and operational procedures to improve consistency and reduce manual intervention.
- Documentation & Audit Support: Maintain CI/CD configurations, deployment procedures, pipeline documentation, release records, change records and other required operational documentation. Support internal, external and information-security audits.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve automation, deployment reliability, release efficiency, operational processes and DevOps tooling.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Development, Application, Infrastructure, Database, Network and Security teams to support application lifecycle, deployment and production operations.
