This is a critical role focused on restructuring and optimizing an existing Azure environment while ensuring deployments are built with proper architecture, security, and scalability in mind. You will work closely with development, security, and DevOps teams to translate business needs into properly structured cloud solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement scalable, highly available Azure cloud infrastructure
- Build and maintain landing zones, hub-and-spoke network architecture, and security baselines
- Manage core Azure networking components
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code
- Govern identity and access management using Entra ID, RBAC, and PIM
- Monitor cloud performance, optimize costs, and ensure resource efficiency
- Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure deployments meet both business and security requirements
- Communicate architectural decisions and cost tradeoffs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Azure cloud infrastructure experience
- Deep knowledge of Azure networking and security architecture
- Strong IaC
- Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, and PIM experience
- Experience remediating and restructuring poorly architected cloud environments
- Strong communication skills — ability to translate technical decisions into business impact
- Azure certs preferred
