Role Description
The Senior Cloud Engineer will serve as a hands-on technical lead responsible for implementing and supporting cloud migration activities across application, infrastructure, automation, and operational workstreams. The individual will work closely with architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to execute migration plans, resolve technical challenges, and ensure successful delivery of cloud capabilities.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on AWS engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering cloud migration, modernization, and application remediation initiatives.
- Strong expertise in automation, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, observability, and production support.
- Experience supporting critical enterprise applications within complex environments.
- AWS certifications preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AWS infrastructure and platform components.
- Execute application migration and modernization activities.
- Implement infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines.
- Support environment provisioning, testing, and production readiness activities.
- Monitor and resolve migration-related technical issues.
- Collaborate with application teams to optimize performance, security, and reliability.
- Support cutover, stabilization, and legacy platform decommissioning activities.
