About the Role:
Are you ready to tackle the challenge of managing infrastructure on an extraordinary scale? At WinZO, we are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be leading the charge in maintaining an infrastructure that supports 200 million users and processes over 5 billion micro-transactions each month. If you are passionate about scalability, performance, and innovation, this opportunity is perfect for making a substantial impact.
What you will do:
● Design and build scalable, failure-tolerant server architecture.
● Responsible for the availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning of their service(s).
● Implementing zero-downtime deployments in a load balanced multi-server environment and being responsive to off-hour emergencies and activities.
● Design and develop auto-scaling systems that optimize performance and cost.
● Develop continuous delivery for multiple platforms in production and staging environments.
● Implement security best practices across the infrastructure and application deployment processes.
● Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS and Google Cloud, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
What you should have:
● 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
● Excellent problem solving skills and experience in working with high availability and high performance systems
● Experience in working with infrastructure as code tools like Ansible/Chef/Puppet/Terraform
● Strong background in Linux/Unix administration
● Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS ecosystem would be a plus)
● Practical knowledge of shell scripting and at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, Perl)
● Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing and firewalls
● Familiar with implementing continuous integration, delivery and deployment practices
● Strong Computer Science fundamentals (networking, databases, operating systems)
● Comprehension of service oriented architectures, micro services and distributed systems
