- CI/CD & Pipeline Engineering: Build, automate, and maintain robust GitHub Actions deployment pipelines for Java (Spring Boot), Python, and infrastructure workloads.
- Observability & Reliability: Implement end-to-end monitoring, centralized logging, distributed tracing, and automated alerting using Datadog, New Relic, or Splunk to guarantee high availability for mission-critical integration pipelines.
- Data Platform Support: Partner with data engineers to automate, scale, and secure deployments of Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, Apache Flink/Kafka Streams, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
- Security & Compliance: Enforce secret management, IAM policies, network security controls, and infrastructure compliance across environments.
Required Qualifications
- DevOps & Cloud Engineering: 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), with deep expertise on AWS.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced hands-on proficiency with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Proven track record running production workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).

- Scripting & Tooling: Strong scripting abilities in Python or Bash, with solid understanding of Java/Spring Boot application runtimes and JVM tuning.
- Databases & Streaming Awareness: Experience provisioning and supporting self-hosted or managed relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and streaming middleware (Apache Kafka).
- Version Control: Advanced proficiency with Git and standard branching models.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing stateful workloads and operators on Kubernetes (e.g., Strimzi Kafka Operator, Flink Kubernetes Operator).
- Familiarity with Change Data Capture (CDC) infrastructure tools like Debezium.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer Professional).
