We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team and support cloud migration and modernization efforts.
Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Terraform/OpenTofu, building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, executing cloud migration tasks, modernizing legacy applications through containerization, developing custom automation tools, and managing database migrations involving Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
The role involves ensuring security and compliance, troubleshooting cloud systems, participating in code reviews, documenting processes, and contributing to technical and cultural shifts toward cloud-native practices.
Qualifications include a minimum of an associate degree or equivalent experience in computer science, with at least one year of experience in system analysis, installation, or maintenance. Desirable skills encompass hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), proficiency in Terraform/OpenTofu, scripting (Python, Bash), and AI coding tools. Exposure to cloud networking, application modernization, and database migration is a plus.
