About the Role:
American Honda Motor Co., Inc. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Administrator in Marysville, OH. You will research, design, and implement scalable infrastructure automation and cloud solutions (AWS, VMware, OpenShift) to advance Honda's manufacturing and supply chain systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) and Proof of Technology (PoT) evaluations for enterprise infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and support hybrid cloud architectures utilizing AWS, VMware, and OpenShift.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using DevOps tools (Git, GitHub, AWS CDK, VS Code).
- Integrate manufacturing and supply chain business systems utilizing enterprise APIs.
- Partner with enterprise security and architecture teams to maintain robust infrastructure governance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or systems automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, infrastructure as code, and container platforms (Kubernetes).
- Working knowledge of enterprise networking, storage area networks (SAN), and virtualization.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical evaluation, and technical writing skills.
