Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps - GCP Architect with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to lead our cloud infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, cloud architecture, and a deep understanding of AI/ML models. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud solutions that interface with AI and ML models, while solving complex problems with vague solutions, and guiding the team through unknown technical territories.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cloud Architecture & Implementation: o Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP to support various applications and services. o Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and continuous integration across multiple environments. o Ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations for mission critical systems.
2. AI/ML Model Integration: o Work closely with data scientists and AI/ML engineers to integrate machine learning models into production environments. o Design and implement infrastructure for grounding models and interfacing with AI/ML solutions within the GCP environment. o Create wrapper services that allow developers to easily interface with complex models and AI-driven features.
3. Service Management: o Stand up new services and ensure they are properly monitored, maintained, and scaled according to business needs. o Manage cloud resources efficiently to balance cost, performance, and security.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud architecture.
- Strong proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as
- code (IaC).
- Experience with AI/ML models, including integrating and deploying them in cloud
- environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate and resolve issues in ambiguous or
- undefined technical areas.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative
- environment.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Terraform, and
- Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like
Kubernetes.
• Experience with microservices architecture and API management.
• Understanding of data engineering concepts and tools.
