Azure/Terraform Engineer
We are seeking a hands-on Azure/Terraform Engineer to build secure cloud infrastructure and lead application migrations from GCP to Azure for a leading healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will have strong Terraform expertise, experience developing reusable infrastructure modules, and a proven track record of migrating applications between cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop reusable Terraform modules for Azure infrastructure, including AKS, networking, Key Vault, and storage services.
- Lead end-to-end GCP-to-Azure migrations, including production cutovers and legacy environment decommissioning.
- Configure Azure Application Gateway, WAF v2, and AGIC for AKS ingress.
- Implement least-privilege RBAC, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and support security remediation.
- Refactor existing Terraform infrastructure while maintaining state integrity and minimizing disruption.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Infrastructure as Code experience, including 3+ years with Terraform module development and state management.
- 3+ years of hands-on Azure experience with AKS, networking, identity, security, and storage services.
- 2+ years configuring Azure Application Gateway and WAF v2, including AGIC for AKS.
- Direct, hands-on experience migrating applications and infrastructure from GCP to Azure.
- Strong understanding of Azure RBAC, secure infrastructure design, and Terraform refactoring.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GCP networking and services, enterprise Terraform module libraries, Venafi/PKI, Prisma Cloud, or NextGen Networks.
