About the Role
Are you an experienced DevOps or Application Platform Engineer skilled in managing .NET runtimes, cloud infrastructure, and modern deployment pipelines for production software systems?
We are seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps / Application Platform Engineer to own the build, security, deployment, and operational reliability of our enterprise platforms within a financial services environment. In this role, your core focus is robust platform infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and runtime engineering: managing AWS cloud architectures, provisioning infrastructure with Terraform, and deploying containerized .NET / C# applications (alongside Java/Python services).
Additionally, you will serve as the platform backbone for our emerging generative AI workloads—operationalizing infrastructure to host, secure, and scale agentic AI applications, RAG workflows, and multi-model LLM integrations (Anthropic Claude API, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock).
What You’ll Do
- Platform Infrastructure & IaC: Architect, provision, and maintain secure, repeatable cloud environments on AWS using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
- Container Orchestration & CI/CD: Design and scale automated GitOps CI/CD delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions; manage and monitor high-availability containerized microservices on Amazon EKS (Kubernetes).
- Application Runtime Management (.NET / C#): Configure, optimize, and support containerized .NET / C# (and Java) backend runtimes, managing dependencies, secrets, networking, and service mesh communication.
- AI Application Deployment & Enablement: Operationalize deployment pipelines and runtime environments for AI apps, agentic workflows, and RAG pipelines (leveraging tool-calling, custom guardrails, and enterprise LLM endpoints).
- Reliability, Security & Observability: Implement end-to-end monitoring, APM, log aggregation, secrets management, and automated cost controls across all cloud resources, services, and API endpoints.
What We’re Looking For
- DevOps & Cloud Platforms: 6+ years of production experience in DevOps, Cloud Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering heavily focused on AWS.
- Kubernetes & Containers: Proven expertise deploying, scaling, and maintaining production clusters on Amazon EKS and Docker.
- Infrastructure as Code: Deep hands-on proficiency writing, refactoring, and maintaining modular Terraform configurations.
- Application Runtime Proficiency: Solid background supporting, packaging, and deploying .NET / C# (or Java) application backends and microservices in containerized environments.
- Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for automating deployment tasks, operational scripts, and API-driven workflows.
- AI Workload Operations: Practical experience deploying, serving, or integrating external AI/LLM APIs, model inference endpoints, or retrieval pipelines into production infrastructure.
- Security & Governance: Strong foundation in zero-trust networking, IAM role scoping, secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager, KMS, or HashiCorp Vault), and compliance monitoring.
Nice to Have
- Experience deploying multi-step agentic workflows, vector search runtimes (Pinecone, pgvector, OpenSearch), or AWS Bedrock.
- Prior experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated, high-compliance environments.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional or AWS Solutions Architect.
What We Offer
- Broad platform ownership—spanning infrastructure architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and application runtimes.
- Direct technical involvement in taking enterprise-grade AI platforms from staging into secure production.
- Collaborative engineering culture focused on modern automation, security, and career development.
Perks & Benefits
- Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO).
- Generous parental leave (substantially above industry standards).
- Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage for employees and dependents.
- Annual performance bonus program.
- Employer Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
- Disability & Life insurance coverage.
- Mental health and wellbeing support programs.
- Yearly team-building experiences and company retreats.
- Technical mentorship, certifications, and tool sponsorships.
