Azure/Terraform Engineer
We are seeking a hands-on Azure/Terraform Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure development and application migrations from GCP to Azure for a leading healthcare organization. This role will focus on building secure Azure environments, developing reusable Terraform modules, configuring Azure networking and security services, and supporting end-to-end application migrations through production cutover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for Azure infrastructure, including AKS, networking, Key Vault, ACR, and storage services.
- Lead application and infrastructure migrations from GCP to Azure, including production cutovers and GCP decommissioning.
- Configure Azure Application Gateway, WAF v2, and AGIC for AKS environments.
- Implement least-privilege RBAC and secure cloud infrastructure.
- Refactor existing Terraform infrastructure, manage remote state, and troubleshoot cloud and networking issues.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Infrastructure as Code experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Terraform module development.
- 3+ years of experience with Azure infrastructure and services, including AKS, VNets, Key Vault, ACR, PostgreSQL, and Blob/ADLS.
- 2+ years of experience configuring Azure Application Gateway, WAF v2, and AGIC.
- Proven, hands-on experience migrating applications and infrastructure from GCP to Azure.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, RBAC, and infrastructure automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GCP services, enterprise Terraform module libraries, and NextGen Networks.
- Familiarity with Venafi/PKI certificate management and Prisma Cloud security remediation.
