Maltem Asia is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a Banking Client based in Singapore.
Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Singapore
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of existing legacy applications and infrastructure.
- Develop a detailed migration plan with timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Document migration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide training and support to IT teams and end-users for smooth transition.
Must have:
- Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.).
- Proficiency in Helm for Kubernetes application management.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, etc.).
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, AWS CloudWatch).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and AWS networking.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Good to have:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
- Expertise in event-driven architecture and experience with Kafka.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, EFCore and related technologies
