TITLE: Cloud Network DevOps Engineer
LOCATION: Remote

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Design, implement, and manage networking solutions such as VPNs, Direct Connect, and VPC peering to facilitate secure data sharing and user access between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Will implement different networking solutions like VPNS, Direct Connects, and VPC peering for data sharing and for user access.
- Develop and deploy network automation scripts and configurations using tools like Terraform and GitLab to ensure consistent and scalable networking solutions.
- Collaborate with AWS Cloud Security and Monitoring teams to integrate and maintain secure network configurations, including firewall and Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of network infrastructure in the AWS cloud.
- Design and implement network segmentation and security policies to protect cloud resources and sensitive data.
- Work with stakeholders to understand network requirements, propose design solutions, and adapt to changing project needs while maintaining network integrity and security.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 5+ years of experience helping design and implement cloud networking solutions.
- Strong familiarity with secure designs is required and experience with firewall and cloud WAF solutions is ideal.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud networking solutions, including VPCs, VPNs, Direct Connect, and VPC peering in AWS environments.
- Proficiency in automating network configurations and deployments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Strong understanding of network security practices, including experience with firewall configurations, Web Application Firewalls (WAFs), and other security measures for cloud environments.
- The ideal candidate will have experience across these technologies and will help design automations to deploy these solutions with customizable configurations.
- Must possess the ability to work collaboratively in teams, while communicating thoughts, concerns, and ideas professionally.
- Willingness to work with stakeholders to help clarify requirements and to positively influence technical direction through technical designs
- Ability to be flexible to changing priorities
