About the Job
Position: We are seeking an experienced DevOps Manager to lead our team in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines, as well as a good understanding of database management systems like Postgres. Experience with cloud and on-prem infrastructure management, OpenShift, and AWS is a plus.
Our ideal candidate has at least 7+ years of DevOps experience, preferably with a software/SaaS company.
Location: Gurugram
Key Responsibilities
• Infrastructure Management:
o Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes and Docker. o Ensure high availability and reliability of systems and applications.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement infrastructure roadmaps.
• CI/CD Pipelines:
o Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
o Automate testing, building, and deployment of applications. o Ensure seamless integration with infrastructure and monitoring systems.
• Monitoring and Alerting:
o Implement monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic.
o Set up alerting systems to notify teams of issues or performance degradation.
o Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.
• Database Management:
o Manage Postgres databases, including schema design, performance tuning, and backup/restore procedures. Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement database solutions.
• Cloud and On-Prem Infrastructure Management:
o Manage cloud and on-prem infrastructure, including AWS and on-prem data centers.
o Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Team Leadership:
o Lead a team of DevOps engineers, including mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
o Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement DevOps best practices.
• Communication and Collaboration:
o Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.
Must have
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in DevOps engineering and management. • Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good knowledge of database management systems like Postgres.
• Experience with cloud and on-prem infrastructure management, including AWS and on-prem data centers.
• Good understanding of monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus
