Lead Consultant - Coaching
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Developer who not only excels in AWS development but also has a passion for mentoring and guiding others. This role is designed to leverage their technical expertise while also focusing on their ability to educate new and experienced employees effectively and efficiently on AWS cloud, Provide hands-on support to the teams on AWS-cloud. Demonstrated techniques and methods of modern software engineering and product delivery.
Technical coach to design, develop, coordinate, conduct and monitor large or medium-scale coaching and mentoring programs required for individuals and team's engineering transformation. Job involves getting deeper to understand team challenges and influence change thru various interventions including coaching, mentoring, and training. Demonstrated techniques and methods of modern software engineering and product delivery.
Purpose of the Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to bridge the gap between technical execution and leadership within our AWS development teams. By bringing in someone with extensive experience in AWS and a knack for coaching, we aim to enhance our team's overall performance and foster a culture of continuous learning. The individual in this role will play a crucial part in ensuring that our AWS initiatives are not only technically sound but also aligned with our broader business objectives. Their work will directly contribute to the strategic growth of our engineering teams, supporting various business units across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:
- Develop and deploy AWS cloud solutions adhering to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the AWS environment.
- XP Engineering practices (TDD/BDD/Pair/Mob programming etc.)
- DevOps (setting up CI CD pipelines) tactics.
Mentoring and Coaching:
- Act as a mentor for developers, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in AWS development and architecture.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Engage with various stakeholders, including enterprise teams across different geographies, to understand their needs and provide tailored AWS solutions.
- Getting deeper to understand team challenges and influence change through various interventions including coaching, mentoring, and training.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 6+ years of work experience within software/application development projects.
- Technical Skills: Extensive experience in AWS development, with a deep understanding of AWS services, architecture, and best practices, hands on expertise on AWS lambda, Glue, Redshift, Aurora DB, Dynamo DB, S3, Route 53, SQS, EC2.
- Developed the AWS Infrastructure using Infrastructure as a Code and used CDK Templates with Python or Typescript and Terraform.
- Worked on AWS Infrastructure (NAT gateways, VPC, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor and guide new and experienced developers and other team members.
- Collaborative Spirit: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders from various backgrounds.
- Problem-Solving Aptitude: Innovative thinker who can design and implement scalable solutions to address diverse business challenges. Identifying the problems in specific/designated areas towards performance or procedural improvements and working towards resolving those.
