DevOps Engineer
Description DevOps resource who will integrate into the CDP Program Teams solutions delivery team. This resource will assist in building the infrastructure and pipeline development for data assets into a new AWS technology stack using Immuta, Starburst, Collibra, Databricks, Alteryx, and Tableau.
Key Activities
- Defines and documents continuous integration / continuous deployment best practices
- Solves difficult problems with scripting language across multiple environments
- Evaluates new tools, technologies, and processes to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability for continuous integration
- Coaches' application developers on proper techniques for building scalable applications
- Experience in automation, testing, Operations is required.
- Experience in AWS, Python, API, Scripting, Ansible, Cloud
- Extensive hands-on experience with configuration/build/release tools such as Jenkins and Maven.
- Experience with the Linux operating system and bash scripting.
- Knowledgeable with source control tools like Git, BitBucket, Subversion, or AWS CodeCommit.
- Familiarity with binary/artifact repositories like Maven, Nexus, Artifactory, etc.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira or VersionOne
- Responsibilities:

- Evaluates new tools, technologies, and processes to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability for continuous integration
- Act as a mentor to application developers on techniques for building scalable applications
- Conducts spots checks of different product teams to provide assistance to developers and operations teams to increase speed-to- market or product quality
- Works with partners across all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
- Works across multiple platforms and applications to understand dependencies
