JD – AWS CloudOps Engineer
- Familiarity with the Linux operating system and Linux administration.
- Windows Servers Administration-MS Windows Server Operating system troubleshooting and patching remediation.
- Extensive experience across multiple services including EC2, ELB, S3, VPC, RDS, Dynamo DB, Lambda, Cloud watch
- Experience in supporting Production Environments in AWS
- Expert to handle the patching and managing Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Lifecycle management of Windows systems in production public cloud environment.
- Cloud Formation Template to build servers with automation- no manual build process
- Perform day-to-day support functions and working on Service now Tickets and JIRA.
- Responsible in building / maintaining / updating the monitoring tools to monitor systems, applications, databases as well as business transactions.
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructure & Application monitoring tools.
- Build and maintain enterprise monitoring platforms and scripts, including basic infrastructure checks and synthetic transactions.
- Providing support for Linux & Windows systems, this includes assisting application teams with assessing issues and troubleshooting deployments.
- Working knowledge in Agile teams, using Scrum and Kanban.
- Prior experience in collaboration tools, such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Managing ticket queue by assigning the tickets and resolve within SLA and ITIL Process.
- Cloud operations support and configuring and defining monitoring framework and monitoring the infrastructure and services.
- Shift handover knowledge
- Strong experience with Operating system troubleshooting and Patching failure troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with logging & event management tools such as Splunk, QlikSense.
- Strong hands on experience with Cloud based infrastructure and services (systems, network, Security, Storage, VPC Flow logs and IAM) SSO enablement and troubleshooting for USER authentication.
