Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and more.
- Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- CI/CD Pipeline Automation:
- Architect and optimize continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using AWS services like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
- Implement automation in testing, deployment, and scaling of applications to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
- Monitoring and Incident Management:
- Set up monitoring and alerting using AWS services such as CloudWatch, X-Ray, and third-party tools like Datadog or Prometheus.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues quickly, ensuring high system reliability and uptime.
- Security and Compliance:
- Ensure that the infrastructure adheres to security best practices, including VPC design, IAM role management, and encryption.
- Implement security audits, vulnerability scanning, and automate compliance checks (e.g., using AWS Config, AWS Shield).
- Cost Optimization:
- Monitor AWS spending and implement cost-saving strategies such as using AWS Reserved Instances, Spot Instances, or right-sizing resources.
- Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline processes and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Mentor and lead junior DevOps engineers, providing guidance on AWS best practices, DevOps tooling, and automation strategies.
Requirements & Key Skills:
- 10+ Years in DevOps
- Proven Leadership in managing DevOps Operation (5+ Years)
- AWS Certified Solution Architect
- AWS Cloud Services: Deep understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, VPC, and CloudFront.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application management.
- CI/CD Tools: Expertise with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, or other automation tools.
- Scripting and Automation: Strong experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate infrastructure tasks.
- Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Datadog, and other monitoring tools.
- Security Best Practices: Knowledge of AWS security features and governance, such as IAM, encryption, key management (KMS), and network security.
