Job Description:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building, deploying, and maintaining our data analytics infrastructure. You will work closely with IT teams to ensure the seamless integration and operation of our data platforms. Your expertise will help optimize our data pipelines, enhance system reliability, and enable rapid development and deployment of innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for data analytics applications.
- - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- - Automate the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of data analytics platforms in cloud environments.
- - Implement and maintain security best practices to protect sensitive pharma data.
- - Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- - Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization.
- - Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps
Requirements:
- - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- - 3-5 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in the pharma or healthcare industry.
- - Strong expertise in cloud platforms AWS
- - Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- - Solid understanding of the GitOps operational framework and how to turn it into practice
- - Experience with CI/CD tool Jenkins
- - Solid understanding of data analytics pipelines and tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar).
- - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
- - Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar.
- - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- - Experience with pharma data standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GxP).
- - Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks.
- - Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional DevOps Engineer).
